I wish they would have showed us the before and after in the bathroom, because I really liked the look of the vanity she put in the bathroom. Love the kitchen, too. The living room, OTOH, doesn't seem very practical. How are the people who are sitting on the sofas supposed to watch TV?

That's is stunning! Love it! 2 suggestions? A plain white mantle for the boys to hang Christmas stockings, later, to hold a modern sculpture. 3 boys? Add a moat around the toilet!!!

Love the bookshelves! Wouldn't like a microwave down low, though. I wonder how much of this is real. Are they really DIYers? It looks like they just took off some tile for the show. And mold isn't a huge catastrophe. Vinegar works, I think, and cover it till it's fixed.
I just wish they will stop making up those fake stories about DIY at the beginning,it's so old fashioned and fake it's cringy. Just go right to the reno plz and stop making them make those fake videos always blaming the husband and so on.

I really friggin hate that the tv space is not centered and in a weird corner. Ugh
I'm sorry to not have such positive things to say, but that gallery wall is very odd. The fireplace doesn't stand out at all and the TV nook is strange and can't be viewed easily. Imagine if they wanted to do something different in the future on that wall – it would be a nightmare.
Removing the slider and adding cabinets in the kitchen was a GREAT idea. That all looks beautiful, but the living room was a swing and a miss for me.

The budgets on this show are totally unrealistic unless they're cutting serious corners. I wonder how many people are totally shocked when their own estimates come back two or three times as high.
