  1. Some landscaping in the back garden would have been appropriate. The plain expanse of lawn looked really incomplete. The landscaping in the front of the house had no curb appeal. The kitchen was well done. The master bath, however, was a failure because she didn't have the tiling redone and that was no place to cheap out. Very oddly-shaped and small master closet as well.

  2. It's easy for Tarek to remodel these houses. He can hire a contractor and not have the contractor take advantage of him because they know they will be on TV. The most horrible thing about remodeling is having the contractor try and take advantage of you ie. charging $1,100 to install a small window or $7,500 to do the tile work in a small bathroom when it's half the cost with all the other tile subcontractors.

  3. 1. A general contractor might not have been necessary if she had committed to showing up every day like a regular work day…rather than going on vacation!!! Who does that?!?!
    2. It would have been worth at least paying for guidance from a interior designer, especially for the upstairs master suite. That closet was plain silly.
    3. Why not turn the downstairs master into a den/family room?
    4. It turned out beautiful, but the selling price was crazy!!

This is the first time I've seen Tarek's wife. I'm sure everyone says she looks just like Cristina. He definitely has a type.

  4. I hate Christina but this is where she comes in, no way would that tiny closet, shower with no tub or that horrendous landscaping have flown by her. Plus why was there no fence that back yard will kill a small child.
