Bathroom tile is ugly as sin, and there’s too much. I can’t imagine spending that much money for a 2×1 house, no matter how bougie the zip code.

Their contractors take them for a ride. I've seen houses whereby patios were closed off so it's an extra bedroom or den. They could have fixed the foundation and left it as a bedroom (it had a stunning bathroom) and built a pergola.

I would have took all the closet and hallway space around the bedroom near the family room and turned it into a new closet and ensuite for that room. Walking through the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathroom wouldn't be a big deal to me.
