I am really grateful that this company had supplied this video. I have purchased this very same filter but did not order the bracket which I feel is needed for any time that a surge goes through the line for one reason or another and causes the pipes to shake or jump which can cause trauma to the filter housing and this bracket helps to hold it steady and give support for such surges that might occur and it also helps to alleviate any strain on the water pipes trying to support it. I prefer this manufacture of the water filter as many other companies will not provide a filter in the box with the filter, you have to purchase it separately and the same as the wrench needed to tighten and remove the housing in order to change the filter. Also, this filter claims to remove odor and bad tastes from the water while the other filters are just for sediment purposes only and if you need to get rid of odor or taste then you need to purchase a separate water filtration system.
Can't we use the Built-in Valve as a First-stage (Primary) Valve? Why we have to have that red-valve? If we stop the water in the main water-line (outside the house there's a Main Valve), then I think we can install the Filtration System and then – simply use the Built-in Valve as the Primary one? Am I right?
I.e. 5:39 are you certain that the Filter Housing will fill with water ONLY when you Open the Valve and not before that? If you're absolutely sure – that's a good news !
