Please note in this video the laminate flooring has an attached padding on each piece, therefor no sheet padding was used.
This video will cover most of the difficult areas of installing a laminate floor. We start out by removing all the base board,doors,toilet, and floor registers. Then we begin with a straight line and start putting the planks together. You will see that it is not as easy as you have been told and some skills are required.

Thanks Craig. Is new flooring supposed to be installed underneath the kitchen cabinets? There isn't any flooring there now so I was just wondering as my contractor wants to put flooring down in the entire kitchen. My cabinets have not arrived yet. Please respond. Thank you.
