I see this is pretty old video but I’ll still ask. Jody have you tried doing something like this with stick welder? It’s all I have and wondering if using Super Missileweld rods by Harris or similar would work?

How would you build up metal with an arc inverter.

Buy the time the weld fails the tine will need to be rebuilt again from wear. Nice!.
