  1. I would have used a tanking solution rather than tile adhesive especially for the jointing tape areas. This system by Wickes is good but tanking lets it down.

  2. We fit wetrooms every month, i must say this is an overcomplicated way of tanking a wetroom, especially using tile adhesive to stick down the tanking tape, as tiling adhesive is not fully waterproof. Using a tanking slurry or solution is a much easier, tidyer and more secure waterproof solution. although this video gives a solution to tanking a wetroom, this is by far not the easiest way, especially if its being done DIY.
