They stripped away all the character and personality and turned into yet another boring grey box.

They did well. The house was a nightmare, but is a dream now!
As much as I don’t like the shrill blonde, the tile choices in this house were way better than the ugly patterns she usually picks. Maybe she is finally learning. But I wish it weren’t so grey everywhere. The exterior is grey, cabinets are grey, fireplace is grey, some of the interior walls are grey… ugh. It’s easy enough to fix, but if I’m throwing down $1 million+ I wouldn’t want my house to be such a bummer.

Great job saving this house! This house had more issues than anyone would have ever wanted to take on. I’m glad they made it beautiful and safe and still made a profit for all their hard work.

Is this a 2008 market crash situation? I still cannot wrap my head around houses full of stuff. If the owners can't get their stuff back it's sad, if it's abandoned that's really wasteful.
I also hope stuff in the house was donated. Materialism in the US is bananas.

I love hearing stories like this. It’s so much stress but so worth it in the end. Enjoy every minute of it. You will look back in the future and see your great accomplishments
