Remodeling a $6000 Brick House – Septic drain field and bath plumbing installation and RAIN

We are in the put back together mode!
The house renovation is moving along with the installation of the drain lines for the new bathroom and laundry room.

Unfortunately, we learned once again that this home had a bad drain field and needed to be replaced. Fortunately, I was able to get the guys at PDQ to come out on short notice and drop in a new dome system. Highly recommended!

But then the rain caught up with us.

  1. Homes where I live are mostly made of concrete. It's no joke if you want to hang a picture on the wall.. you have to break out the power tools. You guys had a good rythm going with the sledgehammers. Good video like always 🙂 Greetings from Iceland

  2. I am so very happy I stumbled about this video, I just cannot stop following you through this house rebuild. As a senior who is ready to downsize to a smaller square foot house with one level plus basement (need that extra space for my library, office/crafts) with your rebuild I am being informed as to what can be done (depending on the area and what is permitted) that will benefit me. Single family homes in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia are off the charts to buy. A one bedroom and bath condo in Washington, DC might cost you over $600,000. I may be stuck in my townhouse if that special cottage is not available here in Maryland. Oh like your haircut. Now to watch the next chapter of this $6,000 Brick House.

  3. WISH I could find a small home 1 bedroom for my king bed lol got big hound 🙂 open kitchen living room . in Georgia area cheap . retired dreamer here lol.
