I agree with some of the comments made earlier, primer should always be used when gluing PVC and although it doesn't really freeze where you are, a blockage could still occur so you should have a physical air gap in the pipe when it exits the building.

Thanks!! If you read this I have a question. My neighbor has wetness wear his sump line runs to the street. Should we dig it up and replace it? Is it probably cracked? Thanks again!!
t's usually a good idea to install glue on the pipe and the fitting, not just the pipe
2:35 Use stainless screws, not tape.
who saws on their leg and then posts it as a how to video?
use a pvc saw. use primer on your pipe. use anti-freeze airgap. use your brain.
Hello and thank you for videos. Three things: Do you not use purple primer? Does it not get below 32 in Charlotte? Are safety glasses not necessary? I didn't hear you say anything about pitch or slope.
Mine drains onto my driveway, runs down, collects on the sidewalk, and freezes. I’ve been keeping the sidewalk clear daily, but I finally got a letter giving me 3 days to fix it lol. Maybe I should ask my work to stop making me work overtime, so I can have time to fix it. Haha, yeah right..
