I've been in the HVAC field for over 30 years. That GPS crap is an expensive toy. Somehow people can operate a smartphone but they can't operate a basic thermostat. If your too stupid to program a standard digital thermostat once (because thats all it takes) you should never leave the house. I don't want my air conditioning system to come on in the middle of the day if I come home. That doesn't save me money at all. Keeping the system sit at a warmer setting all day long until the evening then having it cool down saves your money.
I like that, that's what I need
Why would anyone Need a Thermostat with GPS
I love the new step by step instructions in the discription brilliant
cloud connected devices are not smart.
These smart thermostats have made millions for furnace repair techs!!
……
They are merely gimmicks that cause furnace malfunctions and
failures
Merely gimmicks to attract gullible millenials.
……
And instead of SAVING energy and money, they will COST you in expensive furnace repairs and replacement.
……..
90% of systems will not tolerate playing catch up every day and the result will be having to spend thousands on a new system
very dangerous wires if they carry household current, would have been a good idea to replace them at the same time as the thermostat, are'nt wires with textile around them forbidden these days, will they still get compensated by their assurance when they have a fire caused by these wires?
I would have pulled a new thermostat wire
So if WiFi was out no heat I’ll stick with basic mercery switch thermostat works for decades Computer controlled stuff no thank you
