How to Install a Countertop Water Filter

See how quick and easy it is to install our lead-reducing countertop water filter. Hook one up to your sink so your family can enjoy clean, great tasting water in no time flat!

Our water quality specialist Mike shows just how easy it is to
install a Countertop Water Filter to protect you from Lead, Giardia, Voltatile Organic Compounds, and other common contaminants.

The most obvious thing you’ll want to be sure of is ensuring the water filter’s faucet connection will work with your faucet. Our Countertop Filter comes with a few different aerator adapters, and will easily connect to most faucets.

Different filters are available for our Countertop Water Filter Housing, and what you choose depends on your particular needs – you can learn more about filters in our helpful article at https://www.plumbingsupply.com/water-filter-buying-guide.html

A filter with a higher micron rating will filter out smaller material (including some parasitic cysts, like Girardia), but may not be necessary depending on the water quality concerns in your area.

Installing the filter is merely a matter of removing the existing faucet aerator and connecting the new filter’s adapter to your faucet. Pulling out the diverter knob directs water flow through the filter, delivering pure, pristine water to your glass!
