Bathroom renovations part 1 removing old stand up shower
What you are about to see is my bathroom renovation project. I had a stand up shower in my main bathroom which was old and needed to be changed. Due to financial constraints I decided to attempt the job on my own. I kept a video journal of the progress. That is to say that, every now and then or whenever there was some progress I would grab my camera and tape for a few minutes. This is why it is choppy and you do not actually see someone working. I would also comment. Please excuse the at times boring things I say. This was never intended for public viewing but was intended for my own use. I wanted to remember the work involved in performing these renovations. Video taping allowed me to have a before and after picture of the shower plus all the steps in between. The new stand up shower that I will be installing was purchased from Costco (in Quebec, Canada) for approximately $600. The brand is OVE and the model is the ows-03s. As I go along I will try to give explanations as to the materials and products that I used. Hopefully, it may be helpful to someone considering a similar project.
Part 1 shows the old, original stand up shower and its removal.Thank you, Tony the Turtle.

This showed the progress of the renovation but was no help at all when trying to get info on how to remove a stand-up shower stall.
Yes, you are right. When I filmed it my intention was to document the "progress" of the complete job. sorry if it was not helpful to you.

Be careful with mold- wear a mask and gloves! it is incredible how poorly some houses are built. good luck!
