In cold climates you'll need insulated duct so the hole will have to be slightly larger I think
Can be connected a dryer and a extractor fan connected together to the same duct ? If yes how I do that?
Isn't it a good idea to use the insulated vent tubing for a bathroom fan? How much more would this have cost to go with your Everbuilt vent kit?
I followed this and now have condensation in my flex vent. The cold air from my basement is meeting the humid air from outside and there is water build-up in the line. Do I need to use insulated flex vent instead, or add an extra in-line damper to prevent more of the humid air from coming in?
So I did mine exactly the same way you show in the video. Using the exact same vent kit and fan has a great deal of condensation forming on it. You can feel the water in the vent itself. I caulked all around just like you show. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Does the venting always go straight out or should there be a bit of a slope before it goes out so that the condensation doesn't drip back inside? Also, should we use insulated venting in colder areas for side venting?
What about steel or aluminum siding?
