  1. I can't believe you had the nerve to show a black family THE SLAVE HOUSE… with so much pride I might add. So dam ignorant. I know these hosts are some hicks but at least be a little culturally sensitive producers at HGTV. This guy showed it as the Taj Mahal..meanwhile, the people's great grandparents might have actually lived there. Totally out of touch.

  2. I’m a PK too. Wow, never had a parsonage looking like this! In fact one house was built from. Cinderblocks. I mean take a cinderblock …one side was the exterior wall. The other side was the interior wall! And it was cold. Mountain living. Snow… as a kid I would lay my clothes out for the next day, on my bed. When I woke up I’d get dressed under the covers. Then run to the kitchen where mom would have the oven door open to warm that room. ☺️. I love your show. I love what you do. And it’s beautiful what you did for this “church house!” ❤️❤️❤️
