  1. The "D" window is brilliant and the kitchen island with corrugated cladding is perfection. Not sure about the tub shrine to a cowboy. More a design showcase than a home.

  2. Can you imagine if Tesla teamed up with a new home developer that made the solar roof, battery storage, heat pump HVAC and electric vehicle charger as a standard part of the build. They would have people lining up to buy those homes and become part of a Tesla designed community. Incorporating bike paths and trails, some apartments and condos with solar canopies in the parking lot for EV charging and a business district that you could ride a bicycle to pick up groceries or do light shopping. Some developer should jump on this and team up with a winner.

  3. HGTV needs to spend more effort on energy efficiency.
An energy efficient home or business is more comfortable and saves money in the long run.
Solar energy on your roof combined with battery storage can make people more independent from the grid and natural gas supplies. Add solar and supplemental electric heating or a heat pump for home or business heating..
All big box stores and manufacturing sites can support solar energy on their roofs or parking lots.
Added insulation, double or triple glaze windows, energy efficient doors, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, energy efficient appliances, LED lighting, smart thermostats, solar panels combined with battery storage and a electric vehicle charger in the garage or car park. People are too focused on the short term costs and miss out on long term savings and comfort. Blower door testing and air sealing are under appreciated tools.Even if you have money to burn you should not waste it. Climate Change will impact everyone. Leave a better future for your children and grandchildren. Join in and speak up for the future of the planet

  4. To eclectic for me I would of just did white tile on bathroom floor and put the kitchen backsplash on the countertop remember you are flipping to sell to the masses actually I would of done the stone in kitchen all white and subway tile for the backslash

  5. Sorry too busy, didn’t seem functional for a daily life… an Airbnb sure! Something fun for a couple days. Still not my taste, but of course someone will find it interesting

  6. Such a cute house, great layout and just the right size. But the first thing I would do is paint all of the walls and ceilings a creamy white, replace the D window, sand down the butcher block countertops, and put in a different island. Upstairs is perfect, peaceful and soothing, though I would toss that half bathtub out that big beautiful window.
