LOL… as a nurse. I could see a small clinic ( two or three doctors practice on different days) with a old time pharmacy next door (coffee/pastries or old school dinner.. and gift shop). but that's just me dreaming. If I had the money I would do it in a heart break. Anybody got some free money to invest? Id be happy to set it up. hhhhhmmm maybe a senior adult center close by.
I cannot wait to see the final reveal! I'm so sure it will all be so lovely…I adore Erin and Ben! This cute town is already so cute 🙂 I hope it will "resurrect" fast as people will again appreciate small towns with all the comfort of a big city but without the caos and crime but instead feel comfy. Love from Italy!
I am an artist I redo furniture, decor and make framed glass art–hmmm
Holistic health/massage/ store etc.. no med store!
Where is a fiber arts store? Yarn, thread, fabric for sewing/quilting +areas for classes: days, evenings & weekends?
That main street needs trees ! It looks so hard and dead . Put trees and huge plant boxes there to being it back to life
Best series HGTV has ever produced. I hope you spread the experience with another town. Ben and Erin are the best!!! My favorite renovation show!!!
Love Alabama!
WalMart and Dollar General need to start investing in these town centers with smaller stores.
Best of HGTV ever been there before and Erin and Ben are amazing for the "Home Town."
This town is 33% black, yet have not seen a black person yet. Hmm.
I'm from Alabama and I think this is Awesome!!!!
Are the any governmental/state downtown grants or COVID grants available to help people get started in business?
They cannot compare wchip and Joanna don't like will not watch them boating couple but love million dollar lottery home if u continue to put home town on will watch chip and Joanna onotherchannel
Renovating stores won't do anything. There have to be JOBS – people need to be able to make a living in the town! To revitalize a town you have to bring in some industry or business so that people can work in the town. They should have started this revitalization by searching out some enterprises and got them started.
Where do the couple stay while in Wetumpka?
I am LOVING this show so much! I love HGTV, but you have outdone yourselves with this show! After the last couple of horrendous years the world has endured, to be able to watch such a talented group of REAL people come together to give hope to a struggling town, warms my heart. Whoever came up this show idea deserves a bonus and maybe even a Nobel Peace Prize! I am serious. Ben and Erin, you are a beacon of hope to a tired and beat down world. Thank you so much for lifting our spirits!❤️
It's hard for me as a disabled citizen to go downtown. I know it's historic, but the lack of regulation parking/cut curbs/ramps makes it impossible.
