Kitchen Remodel At Oil Spill House
Originally recorded July 22, 2019.
Now that nobody died doing the demo of the kitchen, the crew was in to finish the demo, and then start construction.
xjoe81x was in charge of the electrical. This day he did the bathroom; later on he came back and redid the kitchen. (For those who are still curious about what a #3 is, consider that the body eliminates something for a #1 and a #2, and they are different. You’re welcome.)
We take a final look at the old dishwasher, and find the original 1950s vinyl flooring that was in the kitchen, totally awesome, it’s too bad they don’t make anything like that today.

Jay I hate to break the topic here but I've heard rumors about YouTube channels might be getting deleted soon, any thoughts about that? It's something to do with COPPA I believe but I keep saying to myself "I'll believe it when I see that's true!"
There actually was tile that was put down in the dining room/kitchen era and hallway bathroom and under that there is the original vinyl floor, and it’s actually harvest gold! The house I live in was built in 1985, but harvest gold floors must have been popular up until that time. Even if the house I live in was built in the mid 80’s, it for some reason has that 60’s/70’s ranch house look to it and if everything was switched back to that era it would be very fitting. It’s a shame they’ll never make vinyl flooring like in the video clip of the original vinyl flooring in the kitchen from the 1950’s.
For all you millennials with your china pride china cycles, I have an experiment. Stick a fork in an outlet, it'll charge that phone with the already destroyed battery.
Another classic for the books.
I forget. Who lives in the oil spill house?
