  1. Ive been trying to stik weld for a while in school and im not familiar with these helmets I can’t recall a time when I actually used a helmet from the school where I could actually see what im doing through it all the lebses are completely black its like putting on a blindfold because of this it makes it impossible for me to weld because I cant see what I’m doing because of this I just sit in the shop the whole time and act like I’m busy

  2. Trust me you never want flash burn it happened to me one time many years ago when I was young we were doing a lot of spot welding and I was holding two pieces of metal while the other person was spot volume down does it take a lot of flashing I thought the person was done welding doesn't take a lot to get flash burn and you do not notice it right away later on that afternoon my eyes started burning really bad it was agonizing pain so I went to the emergency room and I was given special eye drops for flash burn I was out of work for 2 days I may have got about seven or eight flashes during the course of the day that's all it took doesn't take a lot to get flash burn I was in excruciating pain so be careful always use the correct lens design for Mig Tig arc welding even oxy-acetylene welding always protect your eyes used to correct lenses when welding
