  1. If you have a tub that is not metal then fill the tub with water up to the overflow before installing the new silicone, and drain it the next morning. This prevents the silicone from cracking when the tub flex when you are actually using it.

  2. Using finger with or without Saliva will ruin your silicone over the time by building up fungus and bacteria. That black fungus cannot remove with any detergent or chemical. Looks very ugly and disgusting. Don't do this mistake use a Silicone Scraper

  3. Wish I'd watched this video before I attempted the job. The video I watched didn't use masking which I didn't even think of doing as a first timer.
