  1. Mine was hanging like hameroids and the machine was a ESAB 400… It has alot more settings there than what you say here on the Miller machines…

    Thank you, this was helpful to me. I'm in a situation where I have to weld "above me" but the metal there is quite thin so I'm afraid to throttle my way to success. I found a setting that worked OK eventually. In one place I stripped away the thin stuff and replaced it with thicker metal instead, made the whole process much quicker and easier.
