How to make Steel Drawers – Industrial Desk – Part 1 – Fabricating Drawers
Whats up everyone! This is part one of a 2 Part Series, making a prototype desk I plan to hopefully find someone to buy! Should have part 2 finished in a few days. In this video you will see some layout work, using the new sheetmetal break to bend the boxes to form the drawers, some more cutting, grinding, mig and tig welding. Also drilled a few holes for some flat style rivets.
This drawer will be going into homemade hand made desk with a mahogany top. This is sort of a steampunk furniture style theme. You could easily use this as a metal cabinet or other type of metal furniture. I have a home made diy sheetmetal brake that i made, but didnt use it in this video. I used the Grizzly sheemetal brake instead.

Good god. Knock it off with the lame reverse video. It’s more annoying than the unnecessary slowmo
incredible work. love to see this dresser complete.
I'm pretty sure anybody with a $1,000 brake in their shop already knows how to form drawers.
How thick is the sheet?
