Please don't follow this video unless you want some terrible looking crown moulding. Contrary to what the internet tells you, you cant DIY everything. Crown moulding requires carpentry experience, and a lot more steps than what this video shows.
Do not mark your moulding with a permanent marker because it WILL bleed through the paint.
Ever hear of wood glue??
Worst crown install ever.
You could trip over that scarf joint. And always cope inside corners for a tight fit.
How come you don't order inside and outsider corners when you buy them?
Best video..thank you..what was helpful is drawing the direction of the cut on the board..so when you flip you still have a reference
Funny how the finish of the drywall was very rough.
instead of measuring to wall to wall, I measure to a even number and then measure from the other wall to that mark and then add it together.
Also on the saw I have painters tape to mark my lines because a pencil mark fades.
I have crown molding on concrete walls, do i have to take the molding off b4 updating to dry wall? Or can i put the drywall up with the molding in place?
These walls need more than just crown molding to make them look nice… just sayin…
FINALLY! A step-by-step that's actually step by step, and not rushed through with a lot of bubba-speak! Well-Done!
Woodprix Blueprints has some very useful blueprints with all the details you need.
Dude's suspenders tell you everything you need to know
How do you install it on concrete walls let me know thanks
Why don't you play some lame ass music with your video?… Oh, you did.
Little caulk and a little paint, make a carpenter what he ain't
I didn’t know you lay the Crown molding flat to do a joint cut
Can we talk about how awful that paint on the walls looks?
