When your radiator needs replacing with a new one this tutorial can help you make sure thew job goes correctly. This tutorial is for a heating system supplied by a header tank which is usually found in the loft. It’s good to make sure the header tank is topped up with corrosion inhibiter.
If you have any decorating planned, once the radiator is off the wall, this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
Safety Tips
– Radiators are heavy. Be sure to use lifting assistance if needed.
– Wearing suitable clothing including knee pads.
– When drilling be sure to use protective eye-wear.
