Hi Jeff. My partner and I are planning a main bathroom reno for next month, and we have had your videos on constant rotation lately. Great stuff!!! Very happy to have discovered your page.
We are in the stage of planning out the details, and have our hearts set on matte black fixtures in the bath/shower (one unit). What are your thoughts on matte black shower/bath fixtures in terms of water and mineral spots? We live in a city where the water is considered hard, and our current chrome fixtures definitely show a lot of water spots. Are matte black fixtures a bad idea in your opinion? Thanks!
Jeff, I recently converted a bath tub into a bath/shower combo following your videos. I just finished but now when I turn the water on it comes out of both the tub spout and shower. When I pull the diverter up the tub stops and the shower gets stronger. Looking for some advice? All the fixtures are brand new.
HELP THE cheap plastic top spout isnt coming off.. it keeps turning around in both directions and still not coming off the copper pipe…what do i do?
very informative and concise! great job presenting information without being longwinded.
Hi Jeff. I’m getting ready to remodel my bathroom. Loving the videos. Is there an issue drilling through the tile and into the Shluter wallboard for hanging the shower fixtures?
At 1:47 sounded like the Rob Ross of plumbing
Always great videos
Hi could you please make a video on how to install Huntington brass shower kit.its a little different from the kit you're useing and kinda similar to the moen but not quite id love to see the demo thanks.
I am installing a new Delta tub and shower faucet in a remodel project. I am using copper piping and the stub out for the tub spout is copper. The spout that came with the faucet set up has female threads at the front end of the spout. I have to install a 1/2''copper to 1/2 '' pipe male adapter. How do i measure for the length of this stub out before the adapter is soldered on? Or is there some type of easier way to do this ? Will the solder joints be strong enough for this type of installation?
