Today on Modern Builds I’m transforming some old, outdated kitchen cabinets into modern, slab-style cabinets. This is a simple DIY project that is great for weekend (or two) project.

It might look new, but after a few uses, hinges will fall, I still like a good wood cabinets that last 100 years…

Why did you keep the center strip on the larger cabinets? One of the advantages of this new style doors is full access to what’s in cabinets.
