How to weld a homemade chipping hammer tool or invention out of scrap metal Easy welding projects to build over the weekend. Mig welding and arc welding tool projects and invention . I decided to build a chipping hammer out of scrap material. I wanted to weld something to try out the Titanium mig 140 with out the Shield. This chipping hammer tool invention will work great on slag when Arc welding as the slag is thicker.
I used scrap piece of chain, scrap 1/2″ piece of plate and a few minutes to weld it up. Welding project, diy tool, slag chipping hammer, welding project, easy weld project, weekend welding project, mig welding.
