Self Sufficient Me is based on our small 3-acre property/homestead in SE Queensland Australia about 45kms north of Brisbane – the climate is subtropical (similar to Florida). I started Self Sufficient Me in 2011 as a blog website project where I document and write about backyard food growing, self-sufficiency, and urban farming in general. I love sharing my foodie and DIY adventures online so come along with me and let’s get into it! Cheers, Mark 🙂 #gardening #vegetables #fruit

Once upon a time, when I was younger we had a saying. It was it it isn't raining, you're not training. Maybe that applies to gardening too!
KISS = keep it stupid simple
This video came just in time for me Mark as I'm about to move into the building stage of my raised beds.
Great to have some considerations to think of.
I've also got avo's in the ground so it was nice to see your learning curve on these too.
Thanks as always for sharing.
As a 60’s baby in her 60’s! I also need some advice from someone who’s learned. As the BOD fails in strength we all need help to keep practicing our favourite hobbies. Thank you!
I'm so glad to see your channel growing! Your climate is much like mine here in Florida but lucky me I don't have to deal with clay soil, its all sand everywhere lol and avocados love it.
I want them garden! i'm so keen to make my garden to look like that
Love your videos! They are so down to earth (sorry for the pun!) cheers
