DIY Mid-Century Modern Media Console | #Woodworking
Today on Modern Builds I’ll be showing you how to make this Mid-Century Modern inspired console table with tapered legs and fully inset doors. It’s made of all 3/4″ oak plywood and all the pieces can be easily cut with a circular saw, track saw, or the Kreg ACS (like what I did). If you plan on building this be sure to follow the link below to download the free PDF plans. Thanks for Watching!

love it
An iron-on oak veneer edge banding tape to cover the ends on the plywood (which never take stain or finish evenly) would've made this look more like a finished piece of furniture, and less like an item one might find in a tree-fort. Also, drilling big goofy finger-holes instead of a couple cool mid-century knobs kinda defeats the extra effort for euro-hinges.
Copycats
Hey man, I understand, you gotta eat. But you should probably implement a maximum of 2 to 3 product placement per video. This was a lot for one video and you risk alienating your fan base in the long run. Just my two cents. I hope you don't take this the wrong way.
I rather DIY my things rather than buy a expensive one.
You need all that crap to make a plywood box?
how long are the lines in the 30 degrees angle of the base ?????
RUNIED!!!!
Thanks for the info about the "AI" technology in that LG television. I'll definitely NOT buy that product! I don't want my TV "watching" me and "learning" my environment while I'm watching it or not. I like Rockler products – they're great and my favorite tool is, believe it or not, the Kreg pocket hole jig. I've tried Gorilla wood glue but, call me old school, I prefer Titebond. Sorry, what was this video about?
Those exposed plywood edges make my skin crawl. Makes it look so so cheap.
