Bathroom Remodel Quartz Upgrade from Single to Double Vanity Countertops | Master & Guest Baths

In this video I have the opportunity to do some upgrading in my rental home while I am between tenants. I do a bathroom remodel on the countertops using some high end quartz, this is a huge upgrade for this rental! I take the master bath from a single bowl to a double bowl and upgrade the cultured marble in the guest bath to quartz as well. I give you the cost break down toward the end of the video.

  1. Been a landlord since 1996. My general rule is if it is in good shape, functional, and looks ok, then why do the upgrade? Also, let the market tell you what to do. If a property rents quickly, it is good to go. If it sits and sits with showings, then you know you need to spruce it up. Good luck!

  2. I wish I could hug you!!!! I live in Plano and need my master bathroom vanity replaced. Oh did I mention I need kitchen cabinets and countertops!! Really nice of you to give us tips and pricing, especially those who have no idea what the cost will be.

  3. Not worth the expense. I wouldn't call it an investment, because investments create revenue. To me that was a waste of capital. Then the tenants will move in and will chip the countertop, will leave cigarrete and rust marks from shaving cream cans on it, and your new rental bait will go through the drain. I would do this on a house to sell but not to rent. I'm a landlord.
