I went to high school in Montgomery, Alabama. We had a cabin at Lake Martin and always went through Wetumpka to get there. Happy to see HGTV pick them for a makeover! Sweet Home Alabama!

I moved to ELMORE COUNTY where Wetumpka is the county seat the SAME WEEK they made the announcement. I ALMOST bought a historic HOME in Wetumpka but it needed ALOT of work and I was afraid to get myself into a huge project in a NEW STATE since we had moved from Florida and were a little afraid. So, now were halfway between Prattville and Wetumpka tow amazing towns. LOVE IT HERE, our YouTube Channel has done great and we are falling in LOVE with this area after almost an year. The town of Wetumpka has changed SO MUCH since we first saw it, its INCREDEIBLE the work they have done its REALLY an amazing place so is Prattville. I love this area, and can see great things here in the future. THANK YOU. JOSE
Maaan….Galesburg, Il would have been a much better choice. Between history, diversity, people, Lake Storey and just the amount of people who want to see Galesburg get back to the GLORY DAYS!
Please, please,please HGTV, air these episodes on YouTube. That's the only way I am ever going to be able to see them. Have been a big fan of Home Town right from the get go.

Beautiful city on the Coosa river in Alabama! I hear there's a really nice casino there called Windcreek. The fish tank on the inside was shown on the TV show "Tanked."
