You don't wrap tape around the top part of the pop up. Especially a plastic one. The seal is made with either silicone or plumber's putty on top and the flared washer being properly tight. Learn to do it right or don't.
That nut on the bottom of the sink for the pop up needs to be way tighter than hand right too.
Great tutorial for anyone with modest plumbing skills. I read some negative comments below and just want to say that plumbers putty and tape are a plumbers best friend, whether it be metal threads or plastic. (I personally hate plastic piping threads, but it's now on everything) You got it all right in my book !! Well done !

I recommend to use sch 40 p traps not the tubular traps
You just glued pvc to abs witch is not code it will leak
No plumbers putty on the faucet?
The red can is not the right one you need transition glue to connect the abs to the pvc.
Also the abs had paint on it so it won’t make a good seal.nice try
You had paint on the pipe it should be leaking now.
