In this video I replaced a 80%, 90,000BTU, natural gas hot water boiler made by Slant Fin for the first time. Area was tight but the small boiler, the set up of the controls and return piping on right hand side of unit made it easy.

Great vid – we have the same one –
Nice and clean install. I'm looking at installing the natural gas Slant Fin VHS-90EP. The installation instructions say that circulator pump that it comes with can be utilized with two separate zone control valves, but where I get a little lost is if a zone valve relay like a Taco needs to be used because of two thermostats. I have most of my baseboard heat installed and there will be 2 zones; one for the first floor and one for the second floor. Any help would be appreciated..thanks in advance.
I had both old boiler and heater replaced and so far so good!
PSE&G does replacements and give 12 months free financing. .sweet deal ..
How come you didn’t stay with the 1 1/2 supply it usually comes with is it space constraint only?
Where’s the high limit located?
What’s your homes square footage?
nice installation but only one regret…the boiler is place down the floor you should put it a plywood wood in level it the floor before you put the boiler on the floor the gas line look too down..
