  1. I have a scar between my knuckles where I took a cutoff wheel to my hand. If I weren't wearing gloves that scar wouldn't be there. My new rule is no gloves with grinders.

  2. here with the late comment: imo no gloves – if you get nailed with a flap or cutoff wheel – it sucks, but its usually a bandaid – sometimes sutures if you are slow. With gloves, that turns into you hands skin being "degloved" also, ill take the stitches.

    edit: oh and great video, i just finished my tables legs today.

  3. I understand your use, and not use of gloves, but wonder how you'd get caught the gloves caught in the grinder wheel. If it gets that close, I'd be keen wearing my MIG or stick welding gloves cause they're heavy duty but do reduce the grip. There's good gloves that aid with reducing vibration, these are my preference for extended grinding.
