Hi Jody I'm a new comer to Welding. What kind of filler material are you using? My first welder is the Powermig 210 MP. I know that I can use the torch with the gas control on the handle but do you recommend the foot pedal? I'm a little nervous about opening up the welder and the added cost of the footpedal.
Regarding hitting your hip on the extractor box, how about cutting the wall around the box and putting a hinge at the top? Swing the extractor box out and lock it in place when you want to connect the extractor hood.
I havent tig welded in months, and I only have ever tig welded a few times, but I just realized today that I have a tenancy to rest the cup of my mig gun on the end of the weld as if I had post flow… Ive been flux core-ss welding. I blame my addiction to your videos XD
