  1. I grow squash, beans (both green but more importantly shelling or dry beans for use in winter, I like fava or broad beans as I live a colder zone. Potatoes of course all of these are important. Cabbage for kraut is good for storage. I may invest in a home free drying devise that is new on the market. It is costly, but worth it the vegetables can be kept for years.
