I'm not a stone mason by any means but with your good teaching and awesome videos I think I may be able to do it. My goal is to build my home with no hired help. I am a sheet metal man/welder by trade I'm also not to bad at being a carpenter and I learned plumbing at a young age. If I can learn the stone mason trade and get down the electrician side I think I will be able to tackle my goal. Thank you to all the trades men here on YouTube that are teaching us guys and not charging a thing for teaching us your skills.

How much air space do you leave between the sheathing and the back of the stone, and what are standard wall ties for this full size veneer?

You can also use an L bracket at the top. Might be more stable and easier to set than the nail. Nice job!
