The seat was power carved in my shop using the ArborTech TURBO Plane (http://bit.ly/arbortech) and I welded the steel base at FABTECH using the Lincoln Electric Power MIG 210 MP (http://bit.ly/powermig210mp). Awesome stool! I’m interested in trying this myself with some pallet wood. How thick should I use for a base if I want to carve it out like yours? Also, I’m not a metal worker so I’ll need to find a base for it. I’ve found simple bases but can’t find a decent frame for the chairback so I may stick with just the stool. Thanks for the video and any help you can provide!
I use this as my vanity stool and I love it!◈◈>share4.photo/TFoldStool?μ It fits perfectly under my counter and doesn’t take up much room! A much cheaper option to a real vanity stool!
