Island and insert glass are beautiful!
Only thing I don't like is the paint job. the distressed or antiqued style always looks dingy to me. Not that you didn't execute the technique well, because you did. it's just . . . I guess it's becoming sort of a cliche style. I love everything else. Thank you for sharing with us.
Gteat job. Very useful info and pictures.
Horrible paint job on the cabinet. And the backslash??? Yaikes. Like the cheap floor tho.
Usually inexpensive looks tacky, but thst backsplash and the whole thing looks nice.Details eould be nice what did you do w backsplash in looks textured like you painted over paper bags. Who installed you wood floor.
I've seen contact paper on u tube and Rachael Ray where they made it look like granite or white marble. On Rachael Ray it surprisingly looked real Rachael even commented on it. Might be good for a b bathroom at least. There's also a stainless steel cover for fridge, dishwasher.
White narble eould look nice w your backs splash. They showed on u tube look it up on cou ntertops it seems to look good but….
