install custom cabinets and pine wall. that was a lot of work. The built in backsplash was experimental and i think it worked ok. customer was happy

Great job. Big improvement on the old stuff. Those plaster guys don't care about us carpenters / cabinet makers. They are quite happy to leave a shonky wall that we have to deal with ;D

Behind the wood at the wall the air must be able to circulate, otherwise mold can grow there. Old wallpaper is good food for mold.
