If that thing actually worked like shown, even if it were just sped up, there would already be no other type of welder used..

They are for light duty fabrication and beauty that’s all. Can’t trust it for anything like ladders, hangers, or anything to do with safety.
As a filter salesman, the guy on the bottom of the screen should wear a respirator that close to the welding area.
As a 1020 low-carbon mild steel myself, I can guarantee those welds are strong
