In this video I am installing a “Cloakroom Toilet”. There was a space between the stairs and kitchen so my daughter asked about a down stairs toilet! She didn’t want a saniflo but, a full working flushing toilet. I said, we can put a new drain through the kitchen and connect it to the outside soil stack. In this first video I am putting in the drains toilet!

Will the DPM be of any use putting it down like that? Wouldn't the damp just come up from the sides of the DPM if there was any? Since it's not one continuous piece covering the whole floor and the one in the brickwork isn't a continuous sealed piece either. Bridging and all that?
Not sure I would bury and seal up any compression fittings. Rubber o rings will eventually go!
He mentioned nothing about how to establish the correct fall on the waste pipe!
What is the average cost to make a bathroom downstairs? I’m thinking to convert my garage to a master living space with a bathroom
Hi just wondering why the pipes need to be slightly bent at an angle?
We are having similar work done. Our soil pipe is internal and is in the middle of our dining room boxed up. The specialist said we can link pipe to the stack 1.2 metres deep slope to our closet under stairs. I'm a bit scared as they need to make rough 4 meters of digging. Being inside the house it's making me nervous. They are fully insured and are registered with trading standards. They said they have scanning machines to check in case any pipes under the concrete. Is there anything else I need to consider?
does the pipe for the toilet not need to be on a decline to make sure you dont get a build up?
Hey mate music ls too loud can’t hear what you are saying
I want to hide all of this pipe work under ground….
Hi,do I need permission for extra toilet? Any building control?
