Step 1 is to determine the layout of the shower. Ensure there are no slivers of tile at the ceiling, floor, or walls.

Step 2 is to get all your supplies in the bathroom and protect the floor.

  1. Is it more aesthetically pleasing to use large format tiles in small bathrooms? I am redoing a 7' x 4.5' bathroom. The shower area will be 34" from front to back including 4" curb. Was planning on using a 3"x6" beveled white subway tile for the walls and a 6"x6" tile for the floor, now I sm not sure. Fyi, I have zero design skills.
