How heavy should the item be for the seat? Would a 35 lb steel weight plate suffice?
Nice Video. My question is how do you repair the side apron…Apron: Side bracing piece that supports the seat and ties front/back legs together.

Hi Scott, great video, it helped me quite a lot. Is there a reason why, when reassembling the chair, you chose to glue the spindles to the seat first instead of starting with the top rail? Is it easier that way to guide the parts in the mortises? Thanks!
