Here is another way to do the same thing that is easier and a better valve IMO.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLzuZiL6m1o
Hi will the valvle that clamps onto the copper tube produce a lower flow than the direct type installed in the wall like you showed? Also would flow change if you mount a clamp type on 3/4 or 1/2 pipe?
I don’t have a water line popping out of my floor
you people all are very happy because you got your ice maker hooked up …expect a big accident those saddle valves will fail and then thousand dollars to repair it will cost you
I have read these valves fail and are not permitted in most states code. It is advised to uses a T Connector instead . add a 1/4 inch ball valve on one side of the T.
My kit didn't come with that little that goes on the tube after the nut
Gracias for video
Thank you really great information
Thumbs down for the saddle valve.
Hi Shannon! I purchased a condo that is 15 years old. there is a dedicated water line/outlet in the wall but when i purchased a new fridge delivered today they said the wall exchange valve needs to be replaced to be able to connect the 1/4th inch connector for water line… is that something i can do easily?
