I always set my trays 100mm above the flooring on timber so I can access the trap if needed without removing floorboards or plasterboard.
Silly question does the tray flow the waste water automatically if it's level, or does one create a slight fall when laying the tray cheers
No tanking of the subfloor?
Hi shower tray should be put down with weeak sand cement mix so it can be levelled, or flex rapid set adhesive
what gap would you suggest leaving around the shower tray when tiling the wall?
Thanks James, after watching this many times it gave me the confidence to do mine. I’m not a professional plumber by trader but feel more than a have a go one. Please with my efforts thanks for showing a video like this
Thanks for that.
Good job you beat the electricians on that job. They would have left wiring everywhere not to mention butchering that joist!!!
Thanks for your excellent video.
Is the flooring tiles then stuck down after the shower tray is fitted so that the shower tray profile is shallower in relation to the floor height?
Many thanks Chris.
