why didn't you remove that water or wait to dry?
how to hack a concrete driveway repair LOL
Should have been How NOT to hack a concrete driveway repair.
1 Never cleaned the concrete
2 Refilled the hole with DIRTY broken concrete block. New concrete will NEVER BOND to it.
3 Left dirty water in the hole. LOL
4 Did not use any bonding agent.
5 Poured dry concrete into the hole. Another FAIL
6 Used way too much water finishing it off.
7 Probably looked just "OKAY" for less than a week.
8 If you got paid for this repair you should be ashamed of yourself.
9 Refund the money to the customer you ripped off.
10 Find another career, it's obvious you don't have a clue how to patch concrete.
Just pulling your leg man. It was fun to watch. Lol
Excellent!
Very wonderful thank you
Total moron repair. DO NOT do this to your driveway.
i was looking for something like this!! THANK YOU!!!
Thanks for sove good ideas! I liked how you used the broom and rake to smooth it out. Although my problem is abt the same size, the slab is only in 2 or 3 pieces. Just caved in, and too heavy to lift out.Its on the up slope so no water collects in it. But it is seaping in at the collapsed area which is starting to cause some cracking downhill. The driveway is a 60 year old concrete/pebbles aggregate. I will probably clean it out, and fill with something similar to the original mix.
I would like to see it dry
I am going to try this so I can use my driveway. Key word being "hack." I'm not repairing a skateboard ramp.
