Homemade Tig Welder – Tig Welding Old School with Scratch Start
http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/homemade-tig-welder.html
Tig welding with a old stick welder. An Air cooled tig torch, regulator/flowmeter, and argon cylinder turn any DC stick welder into a scratch start tig welder.
But unless you already have a DC stick welding machine, its cheaper to buy an Inverter Tig welder that comes with all the tig welding accessories like foot pedal, flowmeter, and tig torch.

That’s how we do it at Camp Tyson
Ok, so if i understood this then I never want to tig weld with AC. Only DC electrode negative.
Which online did you buy?
Best video I've seen to push me forward with my o old buzz box
Are you serious Have my old stick welder converted to do TIG scratch start is just another method you have to get used to. as for post flow well you can count cant you surely this adaptable method of post flow is wholly acceptable, i use a transformer machine in arc and tig I feel I can run seven rings around most people with inverter apart from aluminium think Jodie sold concept short a lot can be done with an old dc power source.
i never welded before but if im going to become a youtuber that builds things got to learn
Did dude weld his thumb??? lol
