I like what you did so far, but I think the kitchen will look more airy if you eliminate the apron in front of the kitchen window. Besides with the cabinets looking more modern, the apron is a very outdated look.
You guys are generally so good at wearing protective gear, but no eye protection for sanding?????

You could have tossed the cabinet hardware in the new dishwasher
The cabinets closest to the doggy door both open the same way instead of both opening from the center. Same as it was butttt idk i feel like they should open from the center . My ocd tells me so lol
What color paint are you using for the cabinets?
I wish you had converted those bottom cupboards to large drawers.

For next time, all you have to do is get an old crockpot and throw all the hardware is there and cook overnight. All the grim comes off. Complements of #rehabaddict #nicolecurtis
