I liked the house! And the lot was great. All that land and wooded privacy within the city.
I LOVED the backsplash and counter tops, but the cabinets felt like a mid 2000's super basic cabinet you'd find in every starter apartment. I liked the black banister/art piece tho! Definitely unique and beautiful. But it felt like besides that, the rest of the house didn't give me urban vibes.
Beautiful and that is a great price. Where I live this house would be in the 200 000$+.

Awesome job you guys. I love everything you do. I also love the format which doesn’t force the viewer to watch endless hours of installing walls and floors etc. we get to see the good stuff.
It’s a hell no from me. And it’s maddening to watch the ginger do all of these “art” projects that don’t add anything to the value of the house. I thought the evil eye in the living room and the graffiti in the closet were bad… and then I saw the hideous stripes in the bathroom. But the worst thing, IMO, was that abomination at the top of the stairs. The way those boards poked out—somebody could get hurt!
I remember this episode. Totally kool! Her attitude was awesome!! I loved her enthusiasm!!! Great job on the house!!!
when u have a potential buyer its a very smart decision to do it how they want it. there seemed to be an unfinished problem with "wings" wall on the left side but i m sure u took care of it. LOOOOVE those counters! oh ye, and the bathroom floor is what i just DID in a rental unit kitchen wall ON ANOTHER CONTINENT (i m an interior designer in Israel).
PS: ppl who hate the outcome keep forgetting :THEY SOLD THE HOUSE immediately and made a nice profit while u r sitting here beyaching…like they should care:)))

A bathroom that directly opens into the living room is utterly gross. Would be better off reconfiguring the kitchen into a bath with a discrete hallway. The kitchen could have been placed about where they planned for the new bath…
What a fun project; sort of a custom designed home.
I literally have goosebumps watching her reaction. Especially when she went upstairs. Very cool house!
